LLOYD E. HOFFMAN

Mr. Hoffman received a Bachelor of Arts with Honors from California Lutheran University in 1983 as well as Departmental Honors in Political Science and Departmental Honors in Forensics and Debate. He was an Associate Editor and published Comment Author on The Texas Tech Law Review, where he received a Juris Doctor from Texas Tech University School of Law in 1987.

Mr. Hoffman is a founding partner of the firm. His practice has been devoted to the representation of employers, including the areas of labor law, commercial and business law, immigration, and other areas of administrative regulatory compliance, general litigation and workers' compensation. In 1991, Mr. Hoffman attended the first Benefit Review Conference in Texas, and has been actively practicing in the areas of workers' compensation, representation of employers in general, and commercial litigation since that time. He has also successfully represented clients before the District Courts, Courts of Appeals, and The Supreme Court of Texas.

Mr. Hoffman has received defense verdicts in cases involving employment discrimination, workers' compensation, wage and hour disputes, and products liability. Mr. Hoffman has additionally appeared before a number of administrative agencies, including the National Labor Relations Board, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Immigration and Naturalization Service, the Texas Department of Insurance, Division of Workers' Compensation, the Texas Employment Commission, and the Texas Commission on Human Rights.

Mr. Hoffman has been admitted to practice before all Texas state courts. Mr. Hoffman is fluent in Spanish.
