MICHELLE LOPEZ

Ms. Lopez received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Baylor University in 1994 and her Juris Doctor from Baylor University School of Law in 1997.

Ms. Lopez's practice is devoted to the representation of insurance carriers, self-insured entities, and employers in workers' compensation proceedings. Ms. Lopez has been admitted to practice before all state courts in Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and Oklahoma. She is a member of the Arizona Workers' Compensation Claims Association, Maricopa Bar Association, Scottsdale Bar Association, New Mexico Workers' Compensation Association, New Mexico Hispanic Bar Association, and a Workers' Compensation Section member of the State Bar of Texas and Oklahoma.

Ms. Lopez has taken over 800 depositions, taken 10 trials to jury verdict for cases in personal injury, wrongful death, and workers' compensation, and had numerous bench trials. She represents clients before the Industrial Commission of Arizona and New Mexico Workers' Compensation Administration. She has had many favorable decisions while representing carriers, self-insureds, and employers before the New Mexico, Texas, and Oklahoma workers' compensation agencies and courts and defense jury verdicts in the district courts of Texas. She has also represented clients before the District Court, Court of Appeals, and Supreme Court of New Mexico, as well as the Court of Appeals of Texas.
